Spokeswoman Rachael Potts says the company’s foundation is reaffirming the decision it made last July. At the time, the Scouts decided to continue a ban on homosexual members or leaders. Bishop David Malloy is responding to the new policy that says scouts cannot be denied membership based on sexual orientation.
