There are two visitations for the former Peoria Chiefs owner. The first is a more public visitation Thursday from 3 to 9 at Northwoods Community Church in Peoria. The second is Friday from 11 to 1 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Peoria Heights. Known as, “Mr. Baseball,” he was responsible for building up the sport in the city with the purchase of the Peoria Suns in 1983.
