The commission last week appointed Risinger as its interim executive director. The commission has completed a corridor study to build a proposed Eastern Bypass. &nbsp;That project would connect Interstate 74 with Illinois Route 6 in the north-east-region of Peoria. Mark Rothert&nbsp; is assistant Peoria County Administrator for Economic Development.&nbsp; He says the company would create about 200 jobs if it locates in the area.</p><blockquote><p>"Right now, immediately, if the company were to expand into Peoria, they could fill about 50 jobs immediately. The department is seeking public input on how individual counties fit into the regional economic plan. The forums aim to identify the assets of individual communities within the counties.
