The county&rsquo;s Health Department previously reported disease-positive birds in Delevan, Pekin, and Washington. It most recently collected a blue jay with the virus in Morton. Health Department Administrator Greg Chance says people need to take precautions against mosquito bites until the first hard frost. Mosquitos can pick up West Nile Virus from infected birds.</div><div>Symptoms include fever, nausea, muscle and headaches. But some people don&rsquo;t get any symptoms and in rare cases a severe illness can result from West Nile Virus.
