A double homicide last week that included the death of KieAmber Beard-who was pregnant-was accompanied by several gunshot wounds including a pizza delivery guy. And Beard’s cousin was shot to death in the front yard of her mother’s house during a family gathering in her honor. Police have made at least two arrests but are also targeting more patrols in the generally areas impacted by the violence. Police Chief Steve Settingsgaard and Captain Mike Eddleman met with reporters yesterday to talk through some of the response efforts.
