Bill Brady making campaign stops across the state

When voters go to the polls next week for the Illinois primary, they should choose the "reliable republican" in the four-person race for governor. That’s the message from state senator Bill Brady at campaign stops across the state.

Brady says he's always been a reliable republican when it comes to the key issues of abortion, gun rights, taxes, and job creation.

“I’m the only l who has 100% lifetime voting record on these issues. We need candidates like that, embracing the principles of the republican party for the people Illinois to move state forward.”

Brady says as Governor he will make sure the "temporary" income tax increase that's due to expire this year, will NOT be  renewed. He says he will also eliminate the state board of education in Illinois, to boost local control of schools.

Brady's touring the state this week. He stopped in Moline Monday at the headquarters of the Rock Island County republicans.  Brady was at the Corner Stone Building in Peoria Tuesday morning.
