Bill Daley is taking shots at Governor Pat Quinn as he runs for the state’s top post. The Democratic candidate for governor made a stop in East Peoria Friday. Daley says Quinn is not leading on fixing the state’s pension crisis:

“What does he want?  What has he laid out specifically?  And what has he fought for and what has he said he will not accept?  He has not said what he won’t accept on this debate, and that’s as bad as not standing up and saying what you’re for,” Daley says.

Daley says Quinn needs to be more firm on getting results from lawmakers on the pension issue. Quinn says he took action this summer when he suspended lawmakers’ pay until they find a solution. Daley is the former U.S. Secretary of Commerce and served as President Barack Obama’s chief of staff
