Bradley University and Illinois Central College are hoping to attract more international students with a new partnership. The two have signed a memorandum of understanding for BU undergraduate and graduate international students to study English as a Second Language at ICC.
The agreement is for students who have been conditionally accepted to the university, but have not met requirements on English proficiency. Bradley’s Dean of the Graduate School says more than 100 applicants to the school passed all admissions requirements this year, but were turned away because their English proficiency scores were too low.
Students could enroll in the ICC classes as soon as this summer.
