Dunn says the company now owns the entire block between Main and Fulton Streets. He will not confirm whether the purchase coincides in with the company’s world headquarters study. But he says that owning the property gives the company flexibility for future considerations.
Caterpillar undertook a facilities study of its Peoria Worldheadquarters last year. The results of the study and any building or refurbishment plans are expected to be announced sometime this year.
