The Peoria Chiefs is holding a grand re-opening of its stadium this evening. The effort is in celebration of the re-naming of the facility as Dozer Park. The festivities begin at 4:30 this evening with free family activities outside the ballpark, a ribbon cutting at 5:45 and the gates opening at six. The first pitch is thrown out at 7. The first 2000 patrons to Dozer Park will get mini bulldozers. All attendees will also get the chance to win one of six flat screen televisions.
