CityLink ending service to Bartonville

CityLink is reminding residents it’s discontinuing service to Bartonville at the end of this week. The public transit provider voted to end the fixed route in December after grant funding for the service ended. CityLink has offered service to and from Bartonville for more than five years.

Passengers still needing service to the village can use CountyLink which provides rural transportation services in Peoria County. Reservations are required to use the county transit provider.

Riders can call 309-697-3305 Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Reservations can be made 24-hours to 14 days in advance. CountyLink service hours are from 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the final pick up time no later than 5:00 p.m. Fares are $6.00 per one-way trip.
