A former District 150 school principal resigned Tuesday. John Wetterauer’s resignation was immediately effective. He was removed from Charter Oak Primary school earlier this year following a state testing investigation for special education students. Wetterauer was transferred to another district role after leaving Charter Oak, but had been on leave. The reason for his resignation is not apparent. The District 150 School Board must still approve the resignation at its next regular meeting.
