Heartland Community Health picks up OSF Sisters Clinic

The OSF Sisters Clinic is now part of Heartland Community Health. The merger was official Monday. 

OSF is expanding its Community Benefit Grant to Heartland as part of the merger agreement. OSF Sisters Clinic on East Armstrong Street, is the fifth site for the federally funded Heartland Community Health. The OSF Sisters Clinic is now being called Heartland-Armstrong.     

This marks the second merger in the OSF-Heartland partnership. The Mother Frances Krasse Clinic on Garden Street was previously placed under the Heartland umbrella.   

The Armstrong-Heartland Clinic will also continue to be a major teaching site for five U of I College Medicine students each year.
