Nathan Leuthold was in court for the second day in a row for a suppression hearing. He is accused of killing his wife, Denise Leuthold February 14, last year. The pretrial legal proceeding is to determine whether a video is allowed in evidence.
The video matter in question is from the period in which Nathan Leuthold was voluntarily with police for questioning the night his wife was shot, but he had not been arrested and did not have legal representation.
Circuit Judge Kevin Lyons ruled the video can be used as evidence.
The Leuthold trial will likely be the first in the 10th Judicial Circuit that identified media outlets are allowed to have cameras and microphones in the courtroom.
