The Bradley University based Osher Lifelong learning Institute or OLLI has received a one million dollar endowment from the Foundation for which it’s named. It’s the second time that Bradley’s Lifelong Learning Institute has received such an endowment from the Osher Foundation.

Janet Lange is the Director of Continuing Education at Bradley. She says the endowment will further ensure OLLI’s long-term viability. The funding from the Osher Foundation recognizes Bradley’s Standard of Excellence and model of active community participation in OLLI.

The Institute encompasses more than 1,000 people fifty and older in the Peoria-area and has offered the equivalent of 8,000 hours of classroom seminar learning.
