The Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce has a new leader. The organization’s board of directors announced Jeffery Griffin as the new President.
Griffin is coming from Wooster, Ohio where he worked for Edward Jones. Before that, he served as the President of the Wooster Area Chamber of Commerce. In that role, he was influential in recruiting and retaining thousands of new jobs and developing a quality workforce in the area.
Mary Ardapple has been serving as interim President for the Peoria Area Chamber since June after long-time President Rob Parks left for another job. Griffin begins his new role February 10th.
