Quinn mostly absent during pension negotiations
As he runs for re-election, Governor Pat Quinn is staking a lot on getting something done with Illinois' pensions. He's even making a show of asking the state Supreme Court let him cancel legislators' salaries until it's done.
Illinois Public Radio’s Amanda Vinicky checked in with the ten representatives and senators on a special pension committee to see what the governor has been doing to make that happen. Most of them say he has been absent until this month.
