The Vice President of Exhibits and Archives will be reviewing all odd items, and will make on-the-spot financial offers for pieces worthy of joining the Ripley’s Believe It or Not exhibit.
Oddities, artifacts, relics, strange things from science and nature, as well as unusual artwork is being sought. This is the first buying Bazaar in the midwest, and the eighth stop on a acquisition road trip through the U-S and Canada.
Items not selected for purchase will still receive a so-called “odd-appraisal”. This gives people an idea of how unusual their items are.
A lecture on the stories behind some of the more unusual items in the Ripley collection will also take place at 2 PM on Sunday August 10th at the riverfront museum.
