Jun 13, 2014

The Tri-County area is getting three-million-dollars in state money for construction projects.  It’s part of Governor Pat Quinn’s ‘Illinois Jobs Now’ program.

Peoria will see pavement, curb, and sidewalk improvements to Sterling Avenue and Micro Surface treatment on Illinois Route 90. Route 24 near Washington will see slope stabilization. Shoulder and guardrail work is set for Route 89 in Woodford County from Hillcrest to Lowpoint Road.
