Illinois first lady Diana Rauner says the governor's mansion will reopen in July, more than a year after the beginning of an extensive renovation process.
 
Rauner spoke Tuesday at the Illinois Governor's Conference on Travel and Tourism in Chicago. She says the Executive Mansion in Springfield will reopen July 14 for public tours.
 

The Illinois attorney general's office has told a federal court it will allow a suburban Chicago school district to administer medical marijuana to an 11-year-old leukemia patient to treat her for seizure disorders. 

Lawsuit Alleges ADA Violations at Wrigley Field

A 20-year-old Chicago Cubs fan is suing team owners to force them to provide better wheelchair access at Wrigley Field. The Chicago Tribune reports the lawsuit was filed last month in federal court on behalf of David F. Cerda. His lawyer is his father, David A. Cerda.
