Quinn concedes Governor’s race to Rauner

Governor Pat Quinn has conceded his campaign for re-election to Republican Bruce Rauner.  Rauner defeated the Democratic incumbent by five percentage points, declaring victory Tuesday night. Quinn said he wanted to make sure all the votes were counted.  He says that happened Wednesday:

Rutherford concedes campaign for governor

Illinois Treasurer Dan Rutherford basically conceded his campaign for governor Tuesday. His standing in the polls plummeted after a former employee filed a lawsuit accusing the treasurer of sexual harassment and coercing him to do political work.
