Marseilles Infant Death Caused by Head Trauma

The Peoria County Coroner says preliminary autopsy results for 12- day-old Ean Mariotto, of Marseilles show his primary cause of death is related to severe head trauma. The infant also suffered multiple areas of blunt force trauma.

 

The Marseilles Police arrested and charged 30 year-old Jeffrey Price Tuesday in connection to the infant’s injuries.

A man who died in the fire last month at Glen Oak Tower in Peoria was asleep, when a lit cigarette incinerated his couch and the rest of his one-bedroom apartment.

PEORIA, Ill. (AP) - Authorities continue to investigate the death of a man whose body was found in a Peoria hospital bathroom but the coroner says it appears he died as a result of a broken neck.
