Peoria School District 150 board members could begin interviewing candidates for a superintendent as soon as February.

A consultant from the Illinois Association of School Boards presented initial survey findings during Monday night’s board meeting.

IASB’s Thomas Leahy says 990 people in the district responded to an online survey outlining qualities they’d like to see in the superintendent selection.

The District 150 School Board voted in favor of appointing a former Manual Academy principal as acting and interim superintendent.
